Tidsmaskin, or “time machine,” was designed and built as part of the traveling exhibition commemorating
the hundredth anniversary of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions.
The clients wanted the pavilion to project a futuristic, visionary image, representative of the organization’s philosophy, to visitors and future members. Since this particular time machine would have to be set up in more than 60 locations all over the country, it had to be something that a minimal number of people could assemble and transport easily.
