The book is primarily a documentation of the work of URBANbuild – a comprehensive two-year program at Tulane Univerity School of Architecture, USA, a program designed to actively support the rehabilitation of the city of New Orleans in the aftermath of the storm of August 2005.

Mmw is represented by the project GAD, to “provide with exemplary models for analysis”.
